Ms. Rekha Nadarajan is an outstanding dedicated nurse educator (clinical instructor) of the critical care (AICU) department. She is a highly-skilled, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate team leader who consistently displays and promotes the highest ethical standards.

During my orientation as a new staff ICU Nurse, she challenged me to continue to develop my critical thinking skills, to see the big picture while also looking for the small details of patient care. One of her main talents is being able to explain things in a way that you can actually understand and apply to your patient care immediately. She is very good at asking questions about the patient to guide you in the direction you should be going with your care of the patient. During our educational classes, her way of teaching and explanations are very informative and it will help to improve our knowledge. If we have any unit issues she is always ready to come and resolve the problem. She is doing for us a great leader, caring, supportive always encouraging us to develop and to be better.

As an ICU staff, I am very thankful to have Ms.Rekha as a nurse educator. Her knowledge of disease processes, treatment, hospital policies, procedures, and general nursing is a huge asset to every nurse under her supervision. She is always willingly available to answer all of my questions and walk me through things that I need help with. I don’t think I could have had a better educator like Ms. Rekha.
