Remy always had a smile on her face when she came into the room. She would be gentle with the way she spoke to me. She listened to me and I felt like she actually heard me and did not dismiss my concerns. Each time she came in to redress my wound she was kind, gentle, and thoughtful. She was patient with me and made me feel relaxed even though I was experiencing some pain because of having to move my leg.
When I had to be changed after using the restroom, instead of feeling humiliated because of the situation, she made me feel relaxed like everything was OK. I never felt like I did not matter. She is a light in the darkness! It is hard to be in a hospital bed and unable to move but Remy always made me feel cared for and that I was a part of her family. She made me feel at ease and safe.
I really came to care for her as if she were my family. She is a real asset to your team. Everyone should get the privilege of her caring for him or her.
