My wife came to the Oakland facility after being at another location twice in two days.
Renata instantly created an atmosphere of caring, compassion, warmth, and genuine concern to help manage my wife’s pain. My wife had suffered a severe fracture in her sacrum and had been crying and in excruciating pain for several days. Renata immediately obtained the necessary medication orders from the doctor and even went a step further—calling another physician who was initially hesitant to approve Dilaudid. Through her hands-on understanding, empathy, and exceptional communication skills, Renata was able to help the doctor reconsider.
Renata demonstrates through her actions not only what it means to be a truly caring nurse, but also a beautiful and compassionate human being. She sets the highest bar for all medical professionals to aspire to. Renata is a key team member who will make this hospital a place of choice for years to come for anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
