René Jobbett-Smith, RN
My wife spent quite some time in Banner Baywood Medical Center after a serious wound infection was contracted. Of the many excellent nurses who assisted her, one truly stands out. Rene' of the nursing staff went way above and beyond what you would normally expect in care and kindness.
One evening, when my wife was having an especially difficult day, Rene' stayed after her shift to console and visit with my wife. She put helping my wife above her own needs. Needless to say, this kind of care is exceptional and goes way above and beyond.
In my career as an executive, we call this "walking the talk"! In every way that I can think a nurse would shine, this is true of Rene'. I really appreciated the way that Rene' explained all the procedures to us and also made sure that my wife followed through with what needed to be done in order to get better. How can I praise Rene'? Let me count the many ways! We will be forever thankful for Rene' helping us through a very difficult time in our lives.
