Rene stayed late and would not go home until the medication scripts for the patient were ready for the patient to pick up after being discharged. Rene made multiple calls to the patient and the pharmacy. Rene offered to drive the prescriptions to the patient on his way home.
After leaving work after his shift, Rene did go to the outside pharmacy and bring the medication back to the patient on the unit, so they didn't have to stop on their way home. This is one of many times that Rene had truly gone above and beyond for his patients. He is a true DAISY Nurse.
