Renee Boone is a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award as her clinical skills and timely assessment of a patient saved a life. I feel she made a difference in the life of one of our patients who had a myocardial infarction. Because of her rapid assessment and clinical judgment we were able to appropriately manage his condition. Though Renee will say she was just doing her job, she is the kind of nurse that exemplifies the DAISY Award and she needs to be recognized as an outstanding role model!
