We had a ventilated patient in our critical care unit who was discouraged and just wanted to be outdoors. Amanda and Renee mobilized his outdoor adventure, wheeling him in his bed with the ventilator to get some fresh air and sunshine. The patient was so appreciative he cried tears of joy! I am so proud to be a part of a team who puts patients first.
Amanda and Renee as complicated as it was to pull off, made it happen for this patient! What a difference they made in this patient's darkest hour.
