My Mother had a terrible fall outside of her apartment and thankfully I was there at the time to called 911. When we got to the ER Renee was so kind to my mom, who is so scared of blood and needles. She needed to have an IV and Renee was so soft spoken, kind and sweet to her that it made my mom feel so comfortable. She didn't even realize the needle was going in. While my mom was getting a scan, Renee overheard my husband say that I needed to get something to eat. I was on a medication that I had to take with food. In comes Renee with 2 sandwiches and juice. She said, "please eat and relax for a minute". I think it was amazing that she was worrying about us even though she was busy with other patients. To me she was an angel sent to me to get me through this terrible time in my life. I can't say how much this lady means to me and my husband. I have never met a nurse quite like her and I have met my share after 3 heart attacks and 5 by passes. I felt like she was part of my family. Thank you, Renee, for being so caring.
