Renee always goes above and beyond to help out the staff. Since I have been working as a regional float pool nurse, she has been an inspiration to me. You do not have to ask her for help; she is already in your room helping the patient.
Yesterday was beyond this. I had a new admission who had no IV, no meds given in the ED, just a complete disaster. Instead of complaining, she placed the IV, called the pharmacy to get my meds, and started them for me. She makes our shift easier to get through. I love coming to her floor and seeing her smiling face, eager to help and make our day and the patients' day better.
Truly, she is the meaning of "through your exceptional care you can see God's light!" I cannot thank her enough for her kindness. This was just one example. Every shift, she makes it amazing!
