Renee Torres-Palacio, RN

I was recently admitted to the ICU and had a great experience during my stay. Renee was my nurse for multiple nights in a row, and she went above and beyond, and I felt pampered and well taken care of. Her special way of taking care of people when they are sick helped me to feel better and helped my morale, but the most important aspect, which is the reason I wanted to nominate her, is that she made sure that I understood what was going on with me, what kind of infection I had, and how the medication works. She was the only nurse who took the time to talk to me about everything I was going through. She helped me make sense of my illness, which helped me to feel hopeful. Everyone here should be like her. She is the best.
