Reta Cofield, LPN

As a staff member of the OB/Peds Department Reta Cofield is one of the most respected nurses by both staff and patients. Reta began her journey at Tanner in 1998 and has touched so many lives both staff and patients. She exhibits the extraordinary qualities that make her a perfect candidate for a DAISY Award. She honestly cares for patients; she uses her knowledge and positive personality to promote health and provide outstanding care. She takes the time to educate patients on how to prevent illness and complications making sure they have an in-depth understanding of managing their condition. She is supportive and helpful to the nurses she works with. If you ask the night shift nursing staff on 2 West who they would like to recognize for going above and beyond they would all reply that Reta is the most amazing nurse they have ever worked with. Patients constantly mention her and how supportive she has been.
