Rey is the best charge nurse. He is always here to help. Rey’s Teamwork is hard to match. He is always available for the patient plus his staff and surgeons. If we are short-staffed, he is always willing to help even when he is not scheduled. He assists with other departments. Rey has been an employee with LACH for many years and has run the surgical department with the care of his staff and surgeons. He is empathetic for each patient and family and treats them as if they were his own family. Rey's attitude is always calm, you never see him upset. He makes the patients feel at ease when going in for surgery and makes sure their experience is a pleasant one for the situation at hand. Rey is an extraordinary nurse for all he does for his patients, families, and coworkers.
