Rheagan Turner, BSN, RN

I was readmitted after a very recent open-heart surgery. The doctors determined that I now needed a pacemaker. I was sent to have lung fluid drained first. Everyone was very reassuring while I waited my turn. But Rheagan was/is incredible! I was leaning on a pillow while they were finding the place to puncture. She gave me her hands! She said, "Squeeze them." She said, "It's going to be a bee sting and then just some pressure. It will not be painful." She described each step before it was going to happen in a very calm voice, she said, "Breathe." I did squeeze "the life out of her hands" She kept me going! Rheagan is an amazing compassionate Nurse! Thank you, Rheagan! You are an angel in disguise!
