My daughter experienced significant pain and discomfort due to her ongoing stomach issues, which have led to frequent hospital visits throughout her teenage years. These experiences often caused her considerable stress and made hospitals a source of anxiety. However, during a recent visit, Nurse Smedley from the ER provided exceptional care.

I witnessed firsthand her genuine concern, compassion, and understanding as she spoke with my daughter. Her kindness and professional demeanor were truly remarkable. She patiently addressed my daughter's requests and explained medical terms in a way that was easy for us to comprehend. I felt that Nurse Smedley's approach was truly outstanding; she helped my daughter understand that her pain and discomfort would improve and spoke to her as a young adult.

This made the visit significantly better and more comforting, reassuring us that we were in the right place. I could see my daughter's pain and discomfort gradually lessen, and her fear of hospitals also diminished. In the long run, both my daughter and I were incredibly impressed and grateful for Nurse Smedley, MMH, and the ER department for their kindness and care.
