She made me laugh and forget about how uncomfortable I was.
I felt very overwhelmed and in pain as I was waking up from anesthesia. Rheese went above and beyond to calm me down and get me feeling more comfortable. She explained the medication I’d be getting to make me feel better, and she brought me snacks to make sure I wasn’t taking pain medication on an empty stomach. She even tracked down my surgeon and brought her to me when I couldn’t stop crying and needed a familiar face to make me feel better. We talked about our dogs, travel, music, and movies, and I felt so much better, thanks to Rheese. She made me laugh and forget about how uncomfortable I was. She also helped me to the bathroom and put me in a less compressive post op bra to relieve some of the pressure on my chest. She kept in touch with my ride home to ensure she felt comfortable finding the building, where to park, how to pick up my prescriptions, and where to meet us for discharge. I’m so grateful to Rheese for helping me feel better.
