Rhianna Batting, RN

My daughter's partner, O, was taken to CCU after collapsing whilst playing football. O was 31 years old. My daughter was contacted to say that O had been taken to hospital after he had collapsed and she was the first to get to CCU. When I arrived with my sister, we were told that my daughter was waiting in a side room. Upon our arrival, Rhianna and a Doctor came into the room, and it was Rhianna who told us that O had passed away. She did this with such empathy and kindness, it was heartbreaking to listen to, but she answered all the questions asked of her. She did say that we could see O, and she stayed with my daughter and me throughout this time. Rhianna showed O the greatest respect. They moved him onto a bed and put him in a side room so my daughter could stay with him. Such dignity was given to my departed O, daughter, and all family members. We, as a family, thank Rhianna and all of the team that helped that night. Rhianna will always be remembered in our hearts and thoughts and thank you so much, Rhianna you are our angel.
