I commend Rhonda Aispuro for her exceptional care of my 82-year-old precious mom, while she was in the ICU for a week at Barstow Community Hospital for aspiration pneumonia on top of pulmonary fibrosis. Each day I came in, Rhonda had a detailed update for me, letting me know how my mom was doing and how she was reacting to everything from food to medicine ordered. Her upbeat attitude was so encouraging both for me and my mom. I know my mom especially liked her as Rhonda went out of her way to procure ice cream many times for her, even though it was not officially on the menu. Most of all, I appreciated how Rhonda and I were on the same page about so many medical issues, and so I felt I could trust that she would carry out my wishes and ensure the doctors also understood what I wanted and did not want with regard to my mom’s care. Rhonda is not only knowledgeable, but super personable and friendly, which made our visiting time both informative and uplifting. She patiently answered my many questions. Thank you, Rhonda. I will never forget you.
