Rhonda stood by patiently while I showered and checked on me to be sure I was well.
I was in the hospital for a week and was desperate for a shower but was SOB while standing. Rhonda devised a plan to help me achieve a shower. She moved the bedside commode into the shower and covered it with towels and arranged all the shampoo and soaps so they could easily be reached while sitting on it in the shower. Rhonda stood by patiently while I showered and checked on me to be sure I was well. You feel so inhuman while being in the hospital sometimes that a small thing like a shower can really change your mindset for the positive. It meant so much to me that Rhonda made the extra effort to help me shower.
