We were approved for rehab on 5 West. Rhonda was doing her final "preflight" check when she noticed something was not right. It turns out my wife had blood clots in her lungs and legs. Rhonda caught this right away and no further damage occurred. Rhonda is patient, pleasant, sincere, and always brought fresh ice water for her with a smile.

My sister is a current 5th floor patient at St. Joseph's Hospital. I am so deeply thankful for and impressed by the care she has been receiving and the warmth and compassion of the nursing staff and the entire medical team. One nurse, in particular, Rhonda Binderup, has been an "anchor" for us, managing not only my sister's care but also in connecting with us, her family. The experience is comforting and hopeful while staying grounded in reality. Rhonda's interpersonal gifts, humanity, and humor are good chemistry for us. We would like to thank her for supporting us through this challenging period.
