Rhonda Cunningham, BSN, RN, CCRN

Rhonda went above and beyond in her job duties and completed a patient’s dying wish. The patient was recently highlighted on the news for marrying his longtime girlfriend as he is battling terminal cancer. He made the request known to his nurse, Rhonda, and she initiated the request and made his wish a reality. Rhonda’s dedication, compassion and empathy was well displayed, and she deserves a DAISY award for going above and beyond. It is such a pleasure to work with a knowledgeable nurse with over 25 years at this facility! U of L should be proud of her!
