A patient was slowly dying one Sunday. The son requested a priest to be called in but there wasn't one on call that could come up to pray with the patient. Ms. Rhonda took the patient by the hand and asked if she could pray with her. The patient said "please" and Rhonda prayed with her, to comfort her and give her peace and assurance. It was a very touching moment and I know this patient died more peacefully because Rhonda cared, was brave, and took this matter into her own hands. That day Rhonda took extra time and patience with both the spouse of the patient as well as other family members.
