Rhonda Douthit, RN, BSN has been selected to receive the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Douthit, a member of the outpatient department, was nominated based on her many recommendations from associates and patients. By receiving this award, she is being recognized by her peers for consistently going above and beyond in her nursing role and responsibilities.

The patient expressed to me that she felt that Rhonda was the epitome of a professional nurse and her quiet, caring spirit was just what she needed after the surgery. She was so nice to us from the time she met us and she always made sure our family member was okay and taken care of at all times.
