...Just wanted to take a chance to provide some very positive feedback from a recent experience at WCH with my son. My son was admitted through the PEDS ED on Sunday evening for an emergency appendectomy. Dr. D did a good job, as well as the residents that visited us, but the highlight was the nurse that spent the day with us on Monday.
Rhonda said her normal role was a coordinator in critical care but this day she was working on the 5th floor. She did an awesome job assisting us parents and an even better job connecting with my son and helping him deal with his anxiety of the situation. She made this a truly wonderful experience!
My son is now home and healing fine, but I did not want to let this pass without recognizing a GREAT employee!
