Rhonda is very neat, fast, professional, and always looks for ways for the patient to feel ok. She helps patients avoid pain or not to have so much of the side effects from the infusions; she is so attentive. Today, there was a blackout and I saw that she was even faster than usual and I asked her, "why?". She said it was because she had more patients to care for. Someone else might have told herself, "it's not my fault, there is a blackout, and I'll just do what I can". Not Rhonda, she was worried about taking care of all of her patients. Even before this happened I had already mentioned her to my family as an example to follow; not only as a nurse but also as a professional human being. Thank you for all the attention and kindness that all of you have given me, everybody is so good and nice, but Rhonda is excellent.

During Ms. Rhonda Massey's 42-year career she has worked as an OR nurse, a Nursing Care Specialist with research patients, and as an Oncology Nurse in the Infusion Center; the past nine years. During her career, she has received numerous commendations from patients related to her patient care. Rhonda's dedication to providing excellent care and assistance over and beyond the call of duty, to her patients and their families, has been exemplary. She has a consistently strong work ethic and provides compassionate care to her patients. She is a great team member and was with us when we moved our clinic location on two occasions. During these moves, she played a vital part in making sure that our patients received uninterrupted care during these relocations. Rhonda always treats her coworkers with respect and never misses a beat when it comes to being witty! She has a great sense of humor, which is so appreciated in the difficult environment we work in. We are very proud of our Rhonda for receiving the DAISY Award and wish her the very best for the remainder of her County career!
