On a Friday night, right before the office was to close, a patient was being discharged from the hospital and needed an Event Monitor placed. The patient's discharge was already delayed as he was waiting on family for transport and was out of town with his wife and daughters. Although the office was ready to close, Rhonda offered to stay as long as needed to service this patient. We usually have to mail the monitors and it would take 3-5 days, he did not live close by to come to pick it up at the office. Rhonda went out of her way and took the monitor to the hospital, then had it placed on him there. She then went back to the clinic to make sure it was activated before he drove home to Oklahoma.
