My 86-year-old mother stayed in ICU for almost 3 weeks. During that time, she had lots of pain from a heart attack. Nurse Rian truly cared about my mom, doing everything possible to make her comfortable. When my mom first got morphine from another nurse with a regular dose, she felt very bad. I thought she was allergic to that medicine. Rian told my mom, "I will give it a try with a half dose and wait 2 minutes between pushes." For the first time, my mom felt so comfortable, and then every time during the 3 weeks in ICU and hospital.

Rian also provided care that felt like it was coming from a family member. He came to the room very often to ask my mom how she felt. He found a comfortable bed for my mom, so she was finally able to sleep for hours. He visited my mom when he was working in other areas. Rian went the extra mile and provided excellent care. My mom and I will never forget the experience in ICU, especially because of the great nurse Rian. Thank you for your care!!! P.S. My mom is doing great now, she is back to normal life.
