I have worked for NYOH (CDHOA) for 33 years and have hired and mentored many RNs over this period. Riannon is simply an exceptional oncology RN. She has such a presence with the patients. She gives 100% all day every day. Many emergencies arise in this setting. Riannon is calm and reassuring to the patient when an event occurs. She has an amazing sense of urgency, quickly communicating to a provider with pertinent details. She is skillful with excellent technique (IV skills, dressing changes, VAD access). She is a quick study, grasping the multifacets of the outpatient oncology nurse with relative ease. She is conscientious and is delightful to her patients/families. She does an excellent job with triage. Her messages are clear and concise. She is calm and soothing to the caller. She is a strong partner to her primary MD; she organizes info and has excellent follow-through. She is a wonderful team player; always ready and willing to lend a hand and take care of add-on patients. She exemplifies the core values of NYOH and is an asset to the organization.
