His attitude and positive outlook won my husband over immediately. I could see him calm down and welcome the little banter during the pre-MRI questions Rich was asking.
My husband was in the hospital for post-stroke symptoms. We had a two-hour drive to get to the Weston Hospital where he transferred from another facility. The night was long with no sleep and stress from not knowing what was wrong with him. He had tests throughout the night and regular vital interruptions which only made him more agitated with not being able to sleep. Then the daylight came and in walked Rich! His attitude and positive outlook won my husband over immediately. I could see him calm down and welcome the little banter during the pre-MRI questions Rich was asking. It started the whole day on the “right” foot for my husband who was prior to this, seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. While also professional, Rich also has a warm demeanor. He not only made sure my husband’s needs were met, but he also made me feel as if I was welcome to be here for support and always requested from me if he could help me be comfortable in any way. We are grateful to have had him as my husband’s nurse during his stay at the hospital and my husband hopes to find the fishing spot they spoke about as well!!
