While I was giving report to Richard, I noticed that he had surgical booties over his socks. I asked him if he was ready to go home and took off his shoes. He casually said no, my patient is homeless and had no shoes and it's cold outside. Richard melted my heart with such an act of kindness. He is humble and professional, putting his patients first.
