Richard Cromwell, BSN, RN

There is the Dali Lama, the Pope, and RN Richard Cromwell in shining scrubs. A humble, modest man whose compassion, knowledge, bedside manner, and complete dedication to his profession were an integral part of my son's progress in neuro ICU. Unfortunately, my son has no recollection of his time there. But I was there day in day out observing the goings on. When we would praise Richard, he would say it takes a team effort and there were better nurses than him. However, on his day off I observed 4 staff members doing what he was doing single handedly. He explained everything he was doing and what was about to take place. I personally have been hospitalized on 3 continents and have never come across anyone as professional, caring, and unselfish as RN Cromwell. I can never thank him enough for what he did for my son.
