Richard has been honored with the DAISY Award for his outstanding leadership and compassionate care. As an ED lead, Richard demonstrates calmness and professionalism under immense pressure. He supports his staff, teammates, patients, and their families with patience and guidance without hesitation.
He is always willing and ready to step in without hesitation. One evening, Richard noticed a 7-year-old boy in severe pain in our ED waiting room. He knelt down and spoke in a gentle, soothing tone to the child and carried him to a treatment room with compassion and care.
This simple yet powerful act reflects what nursing care is all about - care without hesitation. We are proud to celebrate Richard's dedication and the difference he makes every day!
