Richard Ricafort, RN

Richard was recognized by a patient’s family recently. The patient was a comfort care patient. The family was very grateful for the time he spent with them explaining everything that was happening with their loved one and what they should expect. He was patient with all of their questions and wanted to make sure that the patient was comfortable in their final days. They stated he made them feel like he was the only patient Richard had that day. They never felt like their loved one was uncomfortable, and he anticipated both the patient’s and family’s needs. He made such an impression on the family that they reached out after the patient had passed to express their gratitude.

Richard Ricafort is a vital team member on the MS team. Richard is consistently checking with his team members to see if anyone needs help. He goes out of his way to make every patient feel like they are his only one. He is flexible and approachable and appreciative of his coworkers.
