Richard is amazing! I aspire to be like him. If he is on the schedule, I know we will have a good night. Richard has a great attitude, always. Even while he has a lot going on at home, he keeps a smile on his face, and a positive attitude. Richard regularly picks up shifts and works more than he is required. He comes in whenever he is able, even on off hours. He occasionally is a pleasant surprise and comes in extra when there is a need without scheduling it in advance.
Whenever a code gray is called, Richard makes it there quickly, most of the time before members of security. He is very good at speaking with patients in order to de-escalate a bad situation. His customer service skills are beyond exemplary.
If someone asks for help with anything, Richard is quick to respond. Many times, he is there to help before anyone even asks. He floats around the department when his assignment is caught up. He does not hesitate to help out and take a fifth patient.
