I have seen her visiting our patients and having compassionate conversations. She attends rapid response calls/ cardiac arrest codes, takes lead in patient care, and supports the rapid response team. During her unit rounds, she ensures the frontline staff provide patient-centered quality care. If a professional practice gap exists among the nurses, she facilitates the education for the frontline staff to address the gaps. I observed her taking good care of her colleagues. She made phone calls to check on me while I was sick. She sent flowers, offered words of encouragement, and enlightened me emotionally. She routinely checks on her colleagues. I have seen Richardeanea offer tea bags and snacks to the colleagues. She actively listens to her colleagues and offers solutions in a non-judgmental manner. She always has professional communication. She liberally uses the words "please and thank you", and she greeted colleagues warmly. She ensures a respectful, orderly, safe, and inclusive environment. She encourages teamwork, recognizes the nurses, and empowers them on a daily basis. She practices organizational values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
