I immediately felt comfortable asking her a million questions. She was so quick to get me answers—it was such an amazing attitude! She was so nice.
I woke up from surgery with a very direct nurse. She left for lunch, and Richelle came to cover for her. Let me tell you, Richelle was sooo comforting and approachable!
I immediately felt comfortable asking her a million questions. She was so quick to get me answers—it was such an amazing attitude! She was so nice. She brought me my discharge instructions, explained everything with patience, and called my husband and gave him instructions, too. She listened to my needs and was just nice.
I was freezing and she brought me a warm blanket without me having to ask too.
I also had an IV on my left foot and in my left hand, and she was so nice when taking them off -given the location and how painful they were.
It was such a short period of time I spent with her but she absolutely made my day given the position I was in. This is like my 4th surgery or 5th I think within a year with you guys and never had a great experience like this one from a nurse. So I most definitely believe she deserves the recognition for her amazing and compassionate heart. This is the type of nurse I aspire to be one day.
Richelle, you move with grace and compassion, and it’s FELT once you step into the room. THANK YOU so much for caring for me in such condition. I wish you extreme success in your career because people like you definitely deserve it. Virtual hugs!
