Since my father has been at Andrus, my family and I have spent a significant amount of time with him every day (roughly 10:30am-9/10pm). By spending this amount of time with him, we see first-hand just how busy your staff are and how hard they work. There are certain individuals who stand out as exemplary for it is easy to see their passion and dedication for their job and who they care for. We know how tough their job is, especially with having so many to attend to, and are extremely grateful for their professionalism and care. These individuals have gone above and beyond and have made not only our father but also our family feel comfortable during this difficult time. On Christmas night, we noticed our father became unresponsive, and we went to get the nurse immediately. While the vitals were ok, after speaking with the doctor, the thought was this could be dehydration and IVs were ordered. This was taking place as Richen's shift was about to end. Seeing how concerned we were, to give us peace of mind, Richen stayed beyond her shift to complete the transition.
