My son started vomiting after he ate one night and as I was cleaning him up, Rick walked in and started helping. He helped for the next 3 hours as my son would vomit and have diarrhea. As soon as Rick would get him clean and changed he would throw up again. The diarrhea was shooting everywhere, even as Rick would be changing him. Rick never complained and never got upset, he just kept going to get clean sheets and gowns. He kept talking to my son to make him feel better. His compassion for my son was so beautiful, he took care to keep my son clean on his bottom and to keep the soreness to a minimum. Then he would coat my son's bottom with ointment to protect him from skin breakdown. Rick worked so hard keeping my son clean and well. I really appreciate him taking such good care of my boy.
