Rick Neas, MSN, RN, CEN

Normally, I am an EMS provider, but on this particular day, I ended up being a patient. Upon arrival, Rick was my nurse, and he was incredibly caring. I see him with other patients as well, and he is always so good with them. He deserves the recognition. He took the time to make me feel better. I was highly upset that my patient had attacked me and turned me into a patient. He also knew that I was highly worried about my partner, who was also attacked by our patient. He was nice enough to let my partner know that I was OK and asked my partner to somehow let me know how he was doing without breaking privacy violations. Rick went above and beyond to make me comfortable, and I see him do it often for patients. He is incredible.
