My husband has to have a tunneled dialysis catheter put in today and we would like to nominate his nurse Rick. He was kind, caring, and extremely professional. When he saw how much swelling my husband had and how low his oxygen levels were, he made some calls and got the kidney center to get him in for dialysis right after the procedure. The kidney center was going to make us wait a day but Rick stepped in and helped and got a solution to a bad situation. He was clear in his instructions to us and detail-oriented. He is by far and away the best nurse we have had in all my husband’s stays at Portneuf. His outstanding work should be recognized as he is most certainly deserving.
