I've been getting infusions for my Crohn's disease for almost two years now. Rick was my very first nurse there, and I think he could tell I was nervous and unhappy. Rick made sure to inform me about what was going to happen and he gave me education documents about the side effects. Rick had me laughing the entire time. Since then, we have shared personal stories and have gotten to know each other so well, that every visit feels like I'm catching up with family. Rick was able to give me an IV on the first try without any issues or pain. My veins are pretty difficult to master, so Rick sits me while using a warm water bag to expand them. Rick is the most amazing nurse I've ever met and does whatever he can to be sure you're comfortable.
