Ridgley Williams, RN

 Two nominations were submitted for Ridgley—one by staff on behalf of the physician and one by a patient, who happened to be the same patient the physician referenced.

Ridgley was recognized by the OB physician for spending multiple hours at the bedside, turning the patient and preparing her for delivery. The physician stated that "she deserves a gold star." She consistently demonstrates compassion for her patients and strives to help them have the best experience possible during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. The patient also shared that Ridgley met every one of her needs and provided extraordinary care.

Ridgley made all the difference in my labor experience. She made a long induction feel so much shorter. She was absolutely amazing, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had her as my nurse during my delivery. My labor and delivery experience was made even better because she was a part of it, and I am so grateful. The support and assistance she provided during labor went far beyond my expectations.
