Rikki gave my husband a sponge bath, put lotion on him, combed his hair, and shaved his face. He looked at peace which made his death easier for us.
Rikki was outstanding. From the minute we met, she was professional, patient, empathetic, and gave clear information. My husband had a liver abscess which went into severe sepsis. When the doctor was explaining it to me, Rikki was right there. I asked them to keep him comfortable and wanted my daughters to be with me. Thankfully the doctor agreed. I also asked to have a Catholic priest notified. Rikki was so sweet, she came over and gave me a hug which I definitely needed. For the next few days, she was there giving us comfort. Always concerned about how we were doing and always asking if we needed anything. She is an outstanding nurse and I will be forever grateful to her and the rest of the nurses who took such good care of My J!
