Riley Bennett 2, BSN, RN

Riley noticed concerning signs and symptoms when she assessed one of her patients first thing in the morning. She paged the MD and called an RRT. Thanks to her quick thinking, the MD was able to call the family and was able to let them know that the patient would not make it much longer. Because of her diligence, two of the patient's daughters were able to be at bedside for their father's passing and they both expressed gratitude to Riley for taking such good care of their father throughout his admission.

Riley is caring, compassionate, and quick to take action when appropriate. She is a wonderful patient advocate and is a well-respected colleague that many nurses on the unit look up to. Other nurses seek her expert opinion when they need advice or training. We are so grateful for her.
