Riley Howell, RN

I had been in denial about being in labor- not even believing that my water had broken and fully expecting to be sent home from triage. I felt emotionally unprepared and shocked when I heard I would have a baby that night. I felt much more at ease when Riley introduced herself and talked me through what to expect throughout the night. She stayed positive and really listened to my fears when things got hard, and I was panicking. I am so grateful she was my nurse that night, and I believe she was an answer to my prayers after a traumatic first birth experience. She demonstrated knowledge and professionalism, as well as an important capacity to advocate for my wants during my birth experience. Thank you, Riley!

Riley helped me deliver my son; she was extraordinary from the second she came in to introduce herself as my nurse. She went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable, offering blankets and anything else we needed. She explained things in a way I could understand, and when it was time to push, she was encouraging and supportive. She even stayed an hour after her shift to make sure everything was done, and I was comfortable. Riley was incredible!

Riley is such an amazing nurse. Her care is thoughtful and loving, and you can tell she enjoys what she does. She brings a smile and joy with her into the room. She also has a calming nature. She's willing to answer any and all questions, explain things thoroughly, and offer options that make me feel like I have a say in my care. I feel safe and cared for with Riley as my nurse. Any patient with Riley as their nurse is lucky to have her.
