Rinna is our team’s healthcare advocate. Her compassion, empathy, knowledge, and resources toward healthcare are extraordinary.
At the time that I was at my lowest, she was there. This is RINNA HARPER. Rinna is our team’s healthcare advocate. Her compassion, empathy, knowledge, and resources toward healthcare are extraordinary. She is there round the clock to clarify and promote wellness. Recently, my daughter was in the hospital for surgery. On our 3rd day in the hospital, I felt something was not right. I asked our doctors for help but was told that there were no signs or complications. I reached out to Rinna and informed her that I was scared, and I felt that something was not right with my daughter. Right away, she reached out to our doctors, case managers, and Interventional Radiology nurses. A very crucial procedure was done instantly to save my daughter. After that day, my daughter was in and out of the IR room for the next 2-3 weeks to help her lungs, liver, and other vital organs.
Rinna always asked me for updates to make sure that we were not missing anything and that my daughter was recovering. There are times that I am losing it, crying, and feeling sad, frustrated, and unable to make decisions, but every time, Rinna and the rest of our team made me strong and believe in our healthcare team. Rinna’s compassion and empathy are beyond words. I want to thank Rinna for every single time she reached out to me while my daughter was in the hospital and outside the hospital after her discharge. Because of Rinna, my daughter is back breathing, talking, and walking. My daughter is slowly recovering after close to a month of being in the hospital. She is now drinking her favorite boba drink, watching concerts with her family and friends, and will soon go back to school to finish her nursing degree.
Now, looking back, I see that every patient in our hospital deserves a Rinna. We are lucky to have her on our side. We are forever grateful and in return, our family will continue to help our family, friends, and whoever needs help. I may not be able to do the same thing Rinna does to help others, but I will try because everyone deserves a Rinna Harper in their lives.
