Rion Buck, RN

First Nomination: Rion took time to spend with our family and especially our mothers during our stepfather's critical time. He explained in detail (multiple times) when my mom would forget. He acknowledged my stepdad during every treatment and told him what he was doing. We were set at ease when Rion would explain when we were nervous. We appreciated his time with us!

Second Nomination: His generosity towards my Grandma along side the care to my Grandpa (the patient). My Grandma is blind and has recent stroke history, which causes her to be confused often. That being said, Rion was always honest about my Grandpa’s status/ condition and he always explained to her what he was dong as he did it. Since their initial interaction, my Grandma has talked about how kind Rion is and that all nurses need a heart like his. We understand “you” (medical professionals) see this all the time, but we all appreciate how supportive and caring Rion is /was to us. Thank You

Third Nomination: Rion is an exceptional nurse.  He is very knowledgeable, caring, and everything was done professionally.  Nothing was missed in the care he provided to the patient. He also explained to us what was going on with the patient and he was very kind to his wife.
