We are blessed at TBHC to have such an exemplary nurse tirelessly working for the healing and help of our patients and their families.
Rita received multiple nominations:
Rita always has a positive attitude is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to care for her patients (and even the patients of other nurses!).
Rita is a loving person and Nurse. I see her every day go above and beyond.
I have known Rita for many years. She is a very experienced and seasoned Nurse.
She cares for her patients in all situations. Even when situations are difficult she knows how to prioritize and care for her patient. You never have to question if the patient received their emergency or maintenance care. Even under stressful situations she always finds a way to go the extra steps and resolve the ongoing concerns.
Rita is always very polite professional and pleasant to work with. She should serve as a mentor and example for the younger nurses to follow on how to address their patient coworkers and multitasking responsibilities and care.
Rita truly stands out with a very humble demeanor. A well-deserved and merited award that exemplifies good nursing. This nurse is a leader and source of infinite knowledge as a clinical practitioner.
I nominate Rita for her kindness caring nature. She is a wonderful person and an exemplary nurse.
Rita is one of the best Nurses I have ever met in many diverse settings. She is such a wonderful human being endowed with compassion and love for others i.e. Patients, families, coworkers, supervisors, administrators, etc. She genuinely cares for others and goes out of her way to generate love and concern for others.
I have known Rita for over 20 years and met when she worked in medical-surgical areas where she was an excellent clinical practitioner and so helpful to all and great to patient’s families and staff. She was a great leader at La Providencia Ambulatory center and currently in the ED where she goes out of her way with her enthusiasm and love for the nursing profession and humanity in general. We are blessed at TBHC to have such an exemplary nurse tirelessly working for the healing and help of our patients and their families. Also, she is a role model for young Nurses as well as her children entering the profession.
