...Rita's clinical skills and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that our patients, their families and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.
I had a roommate who couldn't help moaning and calling for help constantly. Rita was so gentle and sweet with us both. I was very sick with pneumonia and never before in a hospital. She made me feel supported and answered my many questions. She went out of her way to make me feel calm and rest even though there was so much commotion in the room with the other ill lady. Each day Rita was on duty, she always remained the same, sweet and compassionate, helpful nurse.
