For several days, Rita was my overnight nurse. Rita really went out of her way many times to make me feel comfortable. She would check in every half an hour to an hour just to make sure I was doing okay and if I wasn't she would fix the problem right away. Whether it was giving me medicine to take the pain away or helping me change my gown, she was right on it. She not only made me feel comfortable but also my mother who was staying with me. Every single night she would search up and down the hall for a bed and finally got one so that my mom slept comfortably. Rita is not only a hard worker but brings in so much good energy. She truly is a one of a kind nurse and made my stay at Carondelet a good experience.
