Rita Joerger, RN
My son had surgery on his spinal cord and was in the PICU for 4 nights. I was lucky enough to have a sleep room, but I was reluctant to leave him through the night. Rita re-assured me she would call if he got scared or needed me. I felt confident he was in good hands after watching her with him throughout her shifts. She was so kind and loving in the way she handled, cared for and spoke to him. She called him ‘angel’ and ‘love’ and really put us both at ease
